On 19 May 2022, Glickon, a leading Italian company in the field of People Experience & Analytics, was included by the prestigious research organisation RedThread Research in its People Analytics Global Technology 2022 study.

The Milan-based HR-tech company was included in an analysis dedicated to organisations that deal with employee engagement, experience and listening, outperforming the selection from an initial shortlist of 125 candidates.According to the study report, "45% of People Analytics vendors operate in the area of people engagement and experience in workplaces. In 2020, this percentage was 34%. Investment in the People Analytics Technology market is at an all-time high and the growth rate between 2020 and 2021 is 53%, with a total market value exceeding $3 billion." [1]In this market - which the report considers "crowded" - Glickon is well positioned as a company capable of continuous sensing and analysis driven by listening to employees, as well as an efficient data integrator of active and passive sources, combining data collected directly through surveys or through metadata and collaboration tools.Leading a company is not easy and these past two years have been particularly hectic.

So, when leaders needed to understand why colleagues were resigning en masse, People Analytics has been a beacon of rationality and calm, a key aid in making important decisions and managing the coming volatility.According to RedThread's report, 2022 has started very well for the People Analytics market, with significant improvement in product efficiency and development roadmaps. Added to this is a higher quality in technical and administrative support, which emerged from user interviews as one of the most relevant needs.

The report's conclusions highlight how business leaders who care about people's work experience need to focus on:

  1. Improving the safety, health and experience of employees, with a focus on those who work remotely and have shown latent needs in the last two years.
  2. Planning current work and future needs to manage friction due to major resignations.
  3. Managing hybrid work with flexibility and a data-driven approach.
